Rough Weekend

Well...I made it through the weekend. I have been dreading this weekend for a year now. Friday marked the one year anniversary of Sherrie passing away. I still miss her like crazy! She was the keeper of all my secrets and the one I confided in about everything! Boy do I miss our talks and visits. I know that she is in a better place and no longer suffering, but it is hard. For now I will think of and remember all the good times we shared. Miss you!

I am back!

Well....it has been too many months since I was here, but I really am going to try to keep up more often. There is a challenge on the Reminisce blog that has got me motivated to update this. There challenge was to use the "B" side of their printed paper and I just happened to do a layout with their new Celebration Series Casino collection that I thought would be perfect for the challenge. The pic isn't the best but I promise to get better.

I used the "B" side of Jackpot & Pair-a-Dice (love that name!) the casino 12x12 Icon and the border sticker. I also used a rubon from their It's Vegas Baby collection.

I was very happy to finally after 5 years get these pics scrapped so that is a good thing!! Thanks for looking.

Another day...

Well Christmas (Eve) in July was a huge success! We had 21 croppers, and a visit from Santa. I actually got a layout done, although at this moment I can't remember what it was??? I took my entry to the fair on Sunday. I am glad that I didn't back out which I almost did. I took the RED ribbon in the scrapbooking area. I am very happy with that. When I dropped my entry off there were about 14-16 entries. I haven't been to the fair yet we are going tonight. I promise when I get my album back I will take pics of all the pages and post them...just ran out of time beforehand. I swear there is not enough hours in the day. Back soon.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I am very busy trying to get everything together for Saturday's Christmas (Eve) in July Crop. I promise to get some pics posted next week! I will show off my layouts for my fair entry....promise!

A New Day

I am starting a new blog in hopes that I willbe better (or more faithful) at posting and I am ready to take my scrapbooking to the next level. Most Design Teams want you to have an active blog so before I really take that plunge and try for one I better get busy here! I have finally submited a card to Paper Crafts and am going to enter an album in the fair, so that is a start. I need to figure out how to add pics and all that so I will be back!
